About our Furniture

We build quality country style furniture.  Our furniture is built with solid pine, both clear and knotty, with no veneers.   Every piece is glued and screwed together, with a minimum of finish nails, and all joinery is glued and biscuited.  Exposed screw holes are recessed and plugged with matching wood.

Our products are shipped fully assembled, with the exception of two-piece cabinets which may be shipped in two boxes.  Because each piece is individually made one at a time, slight variances of size may occur.  Our pieces are NOT mass produced on an assembly line!

We use the finest finishing products. Most of our products are stained in Early American stain, which is a medium oil stain, although some pieces are stained natural. Each piece will take the stain differently, bringing out the grain, knots, and swirls in the wood. We then use a spray lacquer coat, followed by 2 - 3 finish coats. Our process leaves our furniture with a fine, smooth finish and an old country look. Painted pieces are available, as well as other stains, for a slight additional charge. Just contact us.

Many of our cabinets are available in 4 different door styles - Original, Wainscoating,  Panel Look, or Screen Door.  The screening used is painted wire mesh in either black or bronze.

The woodburned scenes available on the stools and bread box doors are each unique works of art.  No two are alike.  We may be able to do custom scenes.  Just ask.

If you don't see what you are looking for, call or e-mail us.  We do a lot of custom work.  Often a person has a certain space where they need something.  We can fill your space.

We will occasionally offer specials and sales on our web site and in our ebay store.  Make sure you watch for them.
