We are a "Mom & Pop" (actually grandma & grandpa) business located in beautiful northern Wisconsin. We build quality country style furniture and accents. We started The Bargain Bin in 1985 as a hand crafted gift shop. We only took locally hand crafted items and met many wonderfully talented artists.
Then Doug started doing woodworking in the basement. It began with a few pieces of furniture and grew from there. In the early 90's we began taking some of the furniture to local craft shows. In a couple years we became so busy with the furniture that we stopped selling other artist's work to concentrate on our own.
What started in the basement with a few tools has grown to encompase 3 buildings. We now make a large variety of wood pieces in different styles. We have recently added woodburned pictures to our furniture product line, mainly on stools and doors.
Donna is also a talented artist in her own right. She makes beautiful hand crocheted afghans, designing her own patterns. Although her patterns are not for sale, her finished products are. Because of the time involved in creating them, the only ones available are current stock. Please check back regularly to view newly available products. If you would like to order one not in stock, please contact us for availability.
We will occasionally offer specials and sales on our web site and in our ebay store. Make sure you watch for them. And sign up for our newsletters. We may be offering discounts to our loyal and valued customers.
